- 搭乘You can catch "Kusatsu limited Express"at Ueno station, track No 15, leaving for Nakanojo (the nearist station from the inn) at 10am or noon. From Nakanojo station, take a local bus to Sawatari spa, takes 20 minutes. Or we will come to pick you up on request. (2小時)
The owner used to live in US and is able to explain the interesting customs of Japanese inn culture. Here, you can get back to basics; rest, hike the surrounding hills.
Meal: Simple country style meals can be prepared on request, or you can bring your own food and use the communal kitchen, both in and outside BBQ with old Japanese style rice cookers. Waters: Hot spring bathing is a natinal obsession in Japan, and at our inn the waters are pure and unfiltered, flowing directly from the source as they have been for the last four generations. The waters run slowly 24 hours a day, so they are always clear and clean. We have two intimate bathing rooms, to use alone or as a couple. Kaneki is a traditonal inn without traditional customs.

其他 : We have two BBQ space, outdoor and indoor where you can do BBQ even in a rainy day! We also have Japenese traditonal old rice cooker, looks like a woodburning fireplace. A glass of soft drink will be served after taking a bath. (free of charge). We are not completely traditional because meals are not included in our rates, and must be arranged in advance. Self catering is avairable in our large kitchen and outdoor BBQ-which is open to guests. Our inn is also avairable for group bookings, conference and corporate getaways. Groups can reserve the entire inn if desired for reasonable rates.
