Our accomodation opened in 2010! Roujiya is a cozy and modern (yet distinctly Japanese) family-owned hostel in the heart of Kyoto. We are situated in a quiet area just a short walk from Nijo Station and close to many historic sites, including Nijo Castle. Roujiya offers a sense of calm, community, and harmony -just what life in Kyoto is all about!

If you won't check-in before 22:00 without contact, we'll cancel your booking and charge a cancellation fee. In the case of the late check-in, we'll charge a fee 250yen per 15min. after 22:00. We close the guesthouse between 11:00 and 16:00 because of the cleaning. You could leave the baggage between 8:00 and 11:00 without any contact. If you'd like to leave the baggage between 11:00 and 16:00, there are coin-locker in the Nijo Sta. mall BiVi next to the Nijo Sta. and Omiya Sta. as well.
